In today’s competitive job market, both students and alumni face numerous challenges as they navigate the transition from academic life to building successful professional careers. Recognizing these challenges, the Office of Advancement and Alumni Affairs (OAAA) has launched the AUS Alumni Mentorship Program—a unique initiative designed to bridge the gap between education and the workplace.

The programme offers mentoring support and other help to alumni who are deciding on a career.
Stay connected with the AUS community and give back by mentoring current students and young alumni. Help them understand the choices they make, and what they can do to reach their full potential.
You can choose how much you want to be involved and can opt out anytime
Raheal Akhtar
I joined the AUS mentorship program to give back to a community that has shaped my journey since 2006. Having benefited from guidance myself, I hope to empower my mentees, sharing insights and experiences to help them navigate their paths. Through this mentorship, I aim to foster their growth, build lasting connections, and refine my own leadership skills, creating a positive impact on their academic and personal development.

I joined the mentorship program to give back to AUS and help guide fresh graduates as they navigate their early career paths. I hope to see them stay connected to AUS while growing in their careers. My aim is to continue supporting them in building their confidence and achieving their career goals.
Nancy Zakharia
I chose to join the mentoring program because it’s directly linked to my purpose of transforming people’s lives and because I deeply believe in the power and value of mentoring both to the mentor and mentee. I see mentorship as a two-way learning opportunity, where I can gain new insights from fresh perspectives while fostering personal and professional growth in others. Ultimately, I’m passionate about building relationships that contribute to the success of the next generation of leaders.
Dr. Wafa Khalfan
As someone who learned many valuable lessons the hard way, I joined this program to give back. With my experience in both academia and industry, I can offer insights and guidance that could not only save time but also help AUS alumni move forward in their careers.
Maria Farag
I joined the mentorship program because I really wanted to give back to AUS, which has been such a big part of my journey. I’m excited to connect with fresh graduates, hear about their goals, and hopefully help them navigate this next chapter of their lives. It’s something I’m really looking forward to, and I can’t wait to see the impact we can create together through this program.
Nour Khawatmi
This mentorship program allows me to uplift our fellow fresh graduates by sharing my experiences and insights, inspiring them to chase their dreams and reach their goals. That would be my true passion and goal.
Mohammad Atallah
I joined the mentorship program to empower AUS fresh graduates and use my industry knowledge to help them succeed in their careers. It’s always a pleasure to give back to my alma mater, especially when it positively impacts the graduates’ career development.
Nabil Kenan
I joined the mentorship program because I strive to continuously learn and there is no better way to learn than to teach. The most difficult learning journey is that of life and experience and because AUS was a cornerstone is shaping who I am now I want to give back to the community by making this journey easier for them. Connecting with those fresh graduates was like looking at today's world through a very young and energetic lens and certainly gives you new perspectives to consider.
